August - 3 months

Anna still gets up at least three times per night. She loves her space gym and she always smiles with her Daddy. She likes being outside where we lay on the purple blanket that Grannie Peg made under the shade tree in the backyard. She loves to look up ate trees. She is getting better at sitting up with help, but she's too fat for her Bumbo chair.

12 weeks

Anna put herself to sleep. She loves the "cow jumped over the moon" projection. She's basically mesmerized by it. What a 12-week-old sweetie.

11 weeks

11 weeks old today. Lots of growing behind us and lots of growing ahead of us.

Born in Charlotte, NC, Anna moved to Michigan on her 2 month birthday - June 14. She was perfect on her first airplane ride. Grampy and Nana have been good hosts while we wait for our place to be ready. Nana is expert at putting Anna to sleep by rubbing her head and singing silly songs. Grampy is a world class walker. She loves being outside with him.

Early baby

Anna Q. Kelly was born two weeks early. Nana and Grampy drive in from Michigan and were there just in time to see me before surgery. She was a breech baby and I was scheduled for a later C-Section, but she wanted to arrive early and made her debut on a rainy Monday morning. Monday's child is fair of face.

Queens shower

Books and bottoms baby shower hosted by Ulrike, Sandy, Jenn, Alice, and Mary. Love these gals!

As many diapers as this seems to be, I'll bet she'll use more!

Grannie Peg has been very busy!

Grannie Peg made baby girl tons of burp cloths and blankets and bed sheets and boppy covers! What a fun homemade surprise for baby.

Iglesias & Bumbo

Maggie, Kevin, and Hazel sent us a Bumbo chair. The kid on the box looks like a little Enrique Iglesias. Very cool!

Rocking chair

Grandma & grandpa Kelly, aunt Maureen, aunt Colleen, uncle James, and cousin Everett gave us this beautiful rocking chair. I'm sure we'll spend lots of time in it!

21 weeks

Daddy's first job!

Aunt Angie sent the stroller system early and we (Kevin) got to put it together. That thing is complicated, but baby girl should be comfortable.

Puma like her Daddy

Once we found out it was a girl (December 22, 2011), it was tough not to buy everything in the world. Girl baby clothes are so precious. But, I couldn't resist these cutie puma outfits so she can look just like her daddy.

Baby's first outfit

Jill, Pat, and Baby Harper sent this onesie, some "I love Mommy" pjs and a cute robot blanket in the mail. It's baby's first outfit and first gift. Thanks Baby Harper! I didn't know I was pregnant when we were at the Michigan v. Notre Dame game on September 10, 2011. It was so much fun and the game was incredible! Baby was a Michigan fan from the beginning.
